📢 Registration Opens Thursday at 1 PM! 📢
Join us for a hands-on Maple Tapping Experience! This two-session event will guide families through the traditional process of collecting and making maple syrup.
The first session on March 25 will focus on the history and process of maple tapping. Families will get to tap a tree themselves and learn about the tradition behind it.
The second session on April 1 brings families back to gather their sap and prepare it for processing. We’ll learn about boiling the sap into syrup and end the day with homemade pancakes using syrup provided by these very trees.
This event is open to families with children ages 4 and up.
Registration opens Thursday at 1 PM. Calls or sign-up requests before then will not be accepted to ensure fairness. There are limited spots, and by registering, you are committing to both sessions. You may only register yourself and your dependents—other families must register themselves.
We’re excited to share this experience with you!

Kwe'
We’re pleased to introduce one of the newest members of the Nepisulti'kul team!
Brianna joins us as our new No'kmaq Support Worker, bringing years of experience working with youth and organizing programs that focus on mental well-being, life skills, and community support. With a background in Psychology and Mi’kmaq Studies, they have worked with Eskasoni Mental Health, the Youth Space, and within the schools—always striving to create safe, welcoming, and engaging spaces for young people and families.
Brianna has always been drawn to support roles as a way to give back to their community. In this role, they look forward to developing programs that help families access resources in a way that feels comfortable, welcoming, and without judgment. They’re excited to listen, learn, and collaborate with the community to create meaningful initiatives that make a real difference.
Outside of work, Brianna enjoys baking, crocheting, beading, and learning new arts and crafts. They’re excited to connect with families, see the community take part in programs, and hearing what ideas and support the community wants to see.
